1..Meeting and Social Dates 2011

Regular Club meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the Month at the Waverley RSL in Coleman Parade, Glen Waverley, starting at 8.00pm.

Meetings cover the status of the boating, house matters, social affairs, general Club business and acceptance of nominations from those persons wishing to go fishing with the Club over the following fortnight.

We will be changing the format of the meetings to make it more enjoyable to the members with the invitation of various Guest Speakers, showing fishing DVD's, and more talk on fishing experiences by members.

This Schedule will display activities as they are organized. The Fishing Competition dates and details are also displayed on this page.

All meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the Month at Waverley RSL starting at 8 pm.

2..Fishing Competition Calendar 2011- 2012

FRIDAY 3^rd FEB AND SATURDAY 4^th FEB	Warneet Club House FRIDAY 3^rd FEB AND SATURDAY 4^th FEB HEAT 3 of the Westernport Challenge ANY SCALE FISH TO COUNT Largest and most fish count. New Members Welcome day. Fishing allowed one day only 5pm the day prior until 4pm on the comp day Saturday Arvo the BBQ is available for those who wish to use it. BYO drinks and food and cook, Weigh in around 5pm at the house on the Saturday. Points count as per the syllabus. Don’t forget to fill in angling entry form.

BERMAGUI TRIP April 14th- 21^st	Bermagui Update Loooking forward to our Gala fishing event in April 14th- 21^st Marlin, Tuna, Albacore, sharks. Snapper, Kingfish, large flatties just to name a few of the types of fish that should be waiting for us at Beautiful Berma more details on our Web site as they happen. This event may well be our last for the current season. We will be arriving on Saturday April the 14^th and leaving on Saturday morning the 21^st of April 2012. All of the beach front units have now been taken for the above period. However I still have one beach front unit available at the time of print. All interested be quick as this won’t last. The cost for the beach front unit would be approx $330.00 for the week for 2 people even cheaper for 3 people and so on as they sleep 5. There are still a few units and on site vans available but these are not on the beach frontage, but are a little cheaper. The resort advises that the lake has been open to the ocean for about two years so fishing the lake should be good as well as the reefs offshore. The private Jetty and launching ramp is within walking distance from your unit. Some members have indicated they will be taking their boats. Others have indicated they will be driving. So getting there or going fishing shouldn’t be a problem if you don’t have a car or a boat. Deposits will need to be taken at our next meeting on the 29^th of November if you intend to join in the fun.
